In the current economic and poltiical climate one's investment options are rather limited. Cash is depreciating far faster than the (laughable) interest that one can receive from any kind of financial institution. In fact, you have to wonder if you will even get your capital back from some of the abberations that are passing for for "banks" these days.

Given this harsh reality one has to turn to real money (silver and gold) to peserve and increase their capital. Holding some in a physical form may be okay but to really leverage any gains in the price of the underlying metal one has to turn to mining shares.

Herein lies the problem that you have so eloquently stated. Finding a viable discovery and bringing it to successful production is a very risky proposition (I have heard that only 1 in 100 pull it off). With the odds stacked against you like that it really rankles me when mismangement and downright fraud is thrown in to the mix (you and I have both suffered the pain and agony of MEO).

I think that you are right - GPR is not like that. I truly appreciate your "referrals" on companies that are ethical as well as profitable.
