After reading the MDnA one comment that is always repeated is how junior mining companies can make money by either selling a property or by taking a property in production via a joint venture with a major. We have seen how foolhardy it is for a junior to go into production by itself.
Investors long on this company and its ore body have always assumed that an eventual purchase of Langmuir will occur. But has anyone really thought of a joint venture aspect with a major. Where a major would do the developing of the ore body and its processing and would a major give ISM a gross royalty instead?
The only problem I see in that idea is that the global players seem to be more interested in 100 pct control of a project. No minority interest and no nsr's. However it may require less cash from a major to get access to the Langmuir ore. I mean instead of purchasing the property for cash and then developing the property with cash, they would be on the hook just for developing costs.
Either way the implications would have a great effect on our sp. Just throwing that out there while we wait for this second round of Micon adjustments to our 43-101 to be completed.
Looking forward to that report more than ever now.
