The company is exploring for nickel deposits on its Langmuir property near Timmins, Ontario; for nickel-gold-copper on its Cleaver and Douglas properties; and for molybdenum and rare earth elements at recently acquired Desrosiers property.
I agree and you have a good point about the survey being a place to make things known. If at the least it will serve as a place to vote and make your thoughts known.
The results of the survey, whenever they are tabulated and are ready for assessment or presentation, should make for one heck of a report card which I would hope they are interested in seeing. Is this a CEO/President who cares more about the mortar and bricks of the company or about shareholders? Or better yet a balance of both? Is he receptive?
Ask on the survey who has ever had an email or phonecall returned from the CEO if they have tried such a communication route?
Have they demonstrated any sort of care in their past efforts?
For me and for many others, I would say their biggest issues are a perceived, and or demonstrated, lack of transparency, accountability and shareholder access. We are now up to news release number 3 or 4 for this spinout and with the halt and attached NR, we are back at square one? How can that get so flubbed up? We sure as heck aren't drilling for some time since Micon, so what the heck are we doing in the front office at ISM......I ask because we don't hear anything do we?
Sure they meet their minimum disclosure laws and make their Sedar filings as required, but do they do anything over and above that? Have we been an BNN lately? Been in the papers or any magazine articles? Ever had a mailout over and above the standard issue AGM AIF? I guess PDAC counts. If Allan Barry did a feature what would he talk about?
I could go on and on and on.
Maybe they should pay less attention to Options grants and the likes and put the mineral exploration business back on the top of the list. Good question again for the survey. State a priority you may assume that ISM should pursue? The most memorable "extra" I recall is a company update that was memorable but that was Aug 07?
All of the above could be improved on with better efforts at IR/PR. We have all said this a million times, it's time for the VSE company to change their ways by acting like the Bay street trader they became so many yrs ago.
How about telling us all what Clarus was here for and if they are still "advising"
So as for me being "in"........ I am but a simple lowly shareholder trying to keep the interest positive. I guess any shareholder would like to be heard.
Ultimately how the heck do we as shareholders "buy into the program" and be sold on it, when none of us know what the program is or that it won't change from month to month.
The references to ISM being a rudderless ship come close to hitting home at times.
There folks there's my rant after watching some hockey
