I think everyone has to take a look at any new rail line installation. Trains do not grow track in the direction of their destination. It is big work and requires access on both sides of the track for compaction, movement of equipment and manpower, etc.
Whether it is an all season road , or rail or power that claims to get the infrastructure rush started is not really that important. It will all happen, they will all take the route staked by KWG (esker materials for road bed and rail construction) and it will all complete simultaneously.
I suspect that we will hear of a late fall start and that all utilites are firing all their guns at once. With enough coincident activity and urgency, we may see a four lane into McFaulds just to cover the construction scar and claim minimum enviro footprint.
