Goodheart, I may misunderstand the context of your post, but it sounds like you are critical of a previous post that was limiting capacity to 3,000 tons per train? Maybe I'm wrong. I don't intend to criticize either of you, but I do want to point out that initial discussions have referenced the need to move a million tons of ore per year.

If a single train can in fact pull 3,000 tons, which seems quite reasonable to me considering that a single loaded semi is usually over 40 tons, then they only need to run one such train per day, six days per week, to hit a million tons.

I feel that the railway could easily handle the required initial capacity and a future increased demand that is several times the scope of the initial requirements.
