Black Horse deposit has an Inferred Resource Now 85.9 Million Tonnes @ 34.5%
"The Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario will each invest $393,814 to enable the Webequie First Nation, in partnership with the First Nations of Eabametoong, Neskantaga and Nibinamik, to complete a regional community service corridor study."
"The study will examine the benefits of developing an all-season transportation corridor connecting First Nation communities in the area with existing roadways, enabling them to capitalize on opportunities related to resource development in the region, including the Ring of Fire."
Close to what I thought, except no mention of the extremely active & valuable Development Corp Board. (In case you didn't realise, that is intended as sarcasm).
Once the FNs are connected with road, fibre optic & hydro, there might be some consideration to assessing Environmental Assessments for infrastructure to the actual ROF, the mineral deposits & potential mines.
It is possible the hydro lines might be built with sufficient capacity to supply mines at a future time. The roads will be all season and able to carry limited industrial/mining traffic as far as the nearby communities, where supply/logistics depots might be placed.
Looks like the pipeline option for chromite. If the rail link to Mosoonee/Timmins goes in, it will be perhaps 10 years from now.
all my personal opinion.
