I am a long term Noront investor who does not own any KWG shares.
I post here because there are some KWG investors, who may also be Noront investors, but post KWG topics on Noront forum and often not favourable to NOT.
That does not serve you and only annoys long term NOT investors particularly when those posts show a high KWG bias. If your post is properly biased to KWG, post it here, not there.
Off the top, KWG and Noront have been and are talking in a freindly and cooperative manner, of which I am very in favour of. As the two companies, we as investors should take that cue and do so also.
The E/W road proposed by Noront is in no way Noront's private nickel road. It would serve native communities ( alternate to Webequie & Nabinamik as well as Neskantaga) just as many as the KWG variation. Need I remind every one that roads are primarily an Ontario responsibility and implementation and very rarely are they private ( Toronto's 407 by-pass rare exception?). This road is to be of public usage.
Do not state exaggetated hyperbolae.
A road is needed for a start. Any diversion of attention to a railway which will only come later serves not well for either company. Yes Noront does need a railway because of reduced transp[ortation costs and am sure is willing to cooperate and compromise to it's implementation with any one.
With now being partners in Big Daddy both companies can together approach governments and natives to give more creedence to persuasion that they listen to proposals and speedier implementation.
We need to cooperate instead of down play a neighbour. Cliffs apparently played hard and look where they ended up, but that is not Noront's way.
Good luck, good fortune and please be patient and considerate, it always looks darkest before dawn. Ed G.
