Creating value through Exploration and Development in the Sierra Madre of Mexico
Baires, your questions are no problem to me, as another member of this forum, and I've had similar worries regarding, for example, the stability of Mexico particularly given the decline in its oil production and welcome anyone bringing up any legitimate concerns that we should take into account in our view of Kimber as an investment.
I think Mexico sees its future as part of a North American trade and currency block with the US and Canada and I take comfort from this in that they would be foolish to do anything to upset their partner countries, for example, by confiscating their citizens' assets.
I own Kimber, Minefinders and Tyhee, they're my top 3 PM holdings. They're all great companies and Puplava clearly sees merit in them all given his fund's heavy investment in the trio. How about a merger? Use the case flow from Minefinders to develop Kimber and Tyhee's properties. What a company that would be.
