Creating value through Exploration and Development in the Sierra Madre of Mexico
Englishchris,
I respect your desire to debate those topics which may be of interest to those of us invested in Kimber and in the PM sector in general. I too welcome those discussions amongst those that have a stake in Kimber. I assure you that I have a substantial holding in Kimber. By substantial, I mean that for a man of my means, I have a lot of skin in the game. The issue I have with Baires is that he has no skin in Kimber. Don't take my word for it, read all of his posts that he has posted on the Kimber forum and those that he has posted on the Tyhee forum. Baires responded by saying he ended a post, 'Viva Kimber'. So what? Look at the totality of his message by reading all of his posts. I am telling you those with alterior motives tend to tip their hand at some point, and Baires has done exactly that. Let me spell it out. Many on this forum have lamented that it is tough to convince people of the value of gold and silver, and even much tougher to convince them of the explosion that will eventually occur in Junior Mining stocks. However, might one much more easily convince a group of folks that have not only already married themselves to PMs but also to a junior mining company, that they may just be in the wrong company? I think that is a possibility. We do not need to be paranoid, but we do not need to be naive either. I assure you that if I have legitimate concerns regarding the future of Kimber, I will express them here, and you will know that they are the concerns of someone who has a significant percentage of their investment capital in Kimber.
The fact is, I have considered Tyhee on more than one occasion, until I heard JPs last interview with the CEO. He stated on more than one occasion and when asked why people should invest in Tyhee, that, 'We may just hit something big'. I have heard this said before. It was said by a lady that I work with that is beyond full retirement years but cannot retire for her lack of planning and fiscal prudence. Ironically, she runs the Lottery group, (a group of about 20 that pool their money to buy lottery tickets). She often says, 'We may just hit something big!', as she works towards death! Look at their share structure, another sign of mismanagement in my opinion. The point is, I don't have any skin in Tyhee, so you don't see me on the Tyhee forum bringing up my concerns. I feel it is simply inappropriate.
By the way for any one interest, do a simple google search on the three words, "Canada", "Mining" and "Protest". I came up with 1,690,000 hits, in fact 350,000 more hits than if you exchanged the word Mexico for Canada. I didn't read all of the articles, but there is some pretty scary stuff in some of them. We best just put our cash under our mattress and hope for the best.
