Silver is trading at about 9.00/ounce right now in 2008 dollars or more importantly 3.00/ounce in 1980 US dollars. (Silver hit over 50.00 ounce in 1980 US dollars)
Jim Sinclair has said in the past that he expects silver to only hit between 28.00/ounce and 42.00/ounce in the next couple of years. (Don't know what he thinks presently)
In 2008, silver metal inventories are significantly lower than in 1980.
You would think that the price of silver in a hyper-inflationary scenario would at least hit 50.00/ounce...
