Golden Kiwi,

I can assure you this report is not fluff. It is the most important bit of information that any person invested in Kimber must understand as it is the corporate strategy of the company. If you want to invest in a company that is going to drill, drill, drill to the detriment of the shareholder, then I can recommend such a company that has diluted the value of its shares, to the point that they are now knocking on the door of nearly 200 million shares. Interestingly, the pace of the increase in resource ounces has not come even close to the pace of the dilution. The strategy of this company rests in the passion of a CEO that believes that every hole that is punched might just hit an "Aurelian like deposit". Maybe they will, and frankly I hope they do. As contrast, consider Ventana Gold, which has skyrocketed, in one year, from as low as $.04 to over $12 on less than 200 holes drilled (granted they hit some huge grades), on a land package that is less than 5,000 hectares, in a questionable district, and...absent any defined resource. The share appreciation occurred as a result of it's potential. It happens to neighbor a company with a mammoth deposit with similar ore structure and grades.

In speaking with Gordon this past spring, he made it very clear to me that an earlier misstep in direction for Kimber was too much focus on what he called "in fill drilling". As he explained, two drill holes that were relatively close would reveal similar structure and grades of ore, but instead of expanding out from those holes, the strategy was to fill in the undrilled area between the two points, and like you suggest, try to show every ounce from point A to B and so on. Gordon, further explained that there is no doubt that Carmen is a solid resource, the strategy going forward is to showcase the Carmen deposit and present it's potential to be something massive. Thus his direction in the news release last May when he stated, "In tandem with the mineral resource estimates and activities to advance the existing gold-silver deposits at Monterde, exploration work also continues with the objective of discovering additional gold-silver deposits at Monterde. Over the last eight months, Kimber's experienced exploration team has undertaken a significant mapping and sampling program within a 4km radius of the Carmen deposit to improve our understanding of the geology of the area and to identify prospective drill targets."

Veta Minitas works from this angle. It is on the opposing side of the same hill where Carmen is located, and is showing similar ore grades as it pertains to gold. Apparently he believes that the smart money as well as the gold mining savvy are very capable of connecting the dots on their own. The success and appreciation of the shares of Ventana Gold seem to suggest that he very well may be correct.

Carotare results are due to be published in Jan 2010. I believe this could be significant as the last resource showed in excess of 100,000 AU, with twice the surface expression of Carmen. The updated resource will include twice as many drill holes. We shall see.

The report....definitely not fluff. It is the vision and direction of the company that we are invested in. If an investor does not think this strategy to be wise or profitable they should probably find another investment. I don't invest in any company whose vision I can't grasp or believe in. This is Kimber. This is what we have bought and frankly, to borrow off of a corny overused phrase for this time of year, I believe.

If Doug Casey is correct, we have nothing to worry about, as he suggests that the time is near that no shares of any junior will sell for less than $5, whether or not the company has any resource at all.

Best Regards,

Seeker
