"In the firm’s view, in such a scenario, and with the cost of EV batteries decreasing, OEMs with fully dedicated e-platforms may achieve ICE-BEV cost parity as early as 2023."
Mining.com had an article about price parity, BEV vs ICE vehicles. It is an interesting speculation.
I found it over on the Dajin Resources company web site, one of the Canadian Small Cap companies found here on Agoracom.com where it is a pdf. The article was originally from Mining.com and has a 6 March 2020 date.
No one knows when parity will be reached on BEV vs ICE, but most agree that it will be reached. It goes without saying that it is a finish line that won't be crossed uniformly since there will be a winner who crosses the finish line first and then there will be those who stand on the winners stand and there will be the also rans and, of course, the turtles at the end of the pack.... but it will happen and lithium mining will benefit from the race. LAC will benefit from the race!
