Great Summary of future Milestones for LAC

WB on TOB posted a terrific summary of Milestones that LAC needs to accomplish. I can't find any fault with his assessment and I don't think I could improve upon it either. Giving full credit to WB, I am reposting that note here. LAC's success depends on achieving true milestones in the long run. Short term success may again occur based on innuendo and/or rumor... speculation, but the long term success is absolutely dependent upon achieving sequential milestones. I happen to be in complete agreement with WB in that I believe LAC will do just that.
The predicted Timeline for those Milestone achievements has to be flexible because there can always be another curveball pitched out during LAC's journey, as we have been witness to this year with the Coronavirus situation. The criminal indictment of Minera Exar may already be a curveball whose ripple effects are yet to be determined. SQM just got slammed with a curveball over in Chile regarding the CPA lawsuit.
As pointed out in an article I posted the link to earlier today: "The Atacama Indigenous Council (CPA) in 2019 filed a lawsuit demanding regulators scrap a $25 million remediation plan developed by SQM after officials charged the miner with over-pumping lithium-rich brine from the salt flat.
The indigenous groups won, but the regulator earlier this year appealed to Chile’s Supreme Court, defending the SQM plan. On Wednesday, however, the regulator suddenly pulled out of the legal battle, forcing SQM to start again from scratch on a new, potentially tougher, plan."

So, in regard to the future of LAC, it appears that circumspective vision is a much better way to look at the future of LAC as opposed to the flawed Rose Colored Glasses approach. That isn't to suggest that LAC's progress forward in achieving the many Milestones will be anything else than steady progress forward and upward, but being aware of potential potholes in the road is always a more prudent method of assessing the prospects for any companies future. The ultimate success of LAC isn't guaranteed, but most of us, as investors, have every confidence that success will ultimately be achieved. We view that journey, however, with both eyes open... just as we should.

WB's earlier Post:
Stay Calm and Carry On!! As a long-term LAC investor, I have to admit that I love all the increased volume and recent elevator ride from $3 to $9 since mid-May. LAC has been undervalued for years but I believe that most of this recent run is tied to speculation of a potential Tesla deal and growing legitimate excitement around the upcoming release of the Thacker Pass DFS. With that said, investors and the company need to remain focused on the long term with an emphasis on successfully completing the key corporate milestone achievements listed below:
o Thacker Pass BLM EIS public comment meetings (8/19 & 8/20)
o Closure of the Ganfeng additional 1% purchase of Minera Exar (Q3 2020)
o Restart construction at the Cauchari-Olaroz project (2H 2020)
o Thacker Pass DFS completion & release (Q4 2020)
o Thacker Pass funding &/or joint venture partner is secured and announced (Q4 2020 – Q1 2021?)
o Demonstrated commercial scale production of high purity lithium sulfate from Thacker Pass clay (date TBD – DFS?)
o BLM Thacker Pass record of decision/approval received (Q1 2021)
o Thacker Pass phase I construction begins (1H 2021)
o Cauchari-Olaroz construction is complete. Plant commissioning and production begins (TBD, pending company COVID-19 impact assessment)
o Thacker Pass construction is complete. Plant commissioning and phase I production begins (1H 2023)
Successful completion of these key corporate milestones is what will drive this stock to $20+ in the next few years. We may get a short-term elevator ride to these levels when the ThackerPass DFS and Strategic partner is announced but I want to make sure we stay on top with a solid foundation of successful company execution to build upon. LAC is an incredible company that is literally sitting on a VOLCANO full of Lithium in Nevada that is about to explode into cash for LAC shareholders. GO LAC!!

Again, I couldn't agree more with WB's analysis. It was extremely well stated with a cogent explanation without a single epithet in the mix. Outstanding!!!
