Bassomatic:  " Just because Banchak is selling does not necessarily bode poorly for LAC's future as a company or as an investment.  "

Totally agree with that assessmenet, Bassomatic.  I think that maybe Bangchak and LAC have assessed the economic and political situation in Argentina and have decided to pullback at the very least and that we may see more pullback by both and, eventually, an "Abandon Ship" for the S.S. Argentina situation.  On the other hand, China is expanding its economic efforts throughout the world in commensuration with Chairman Xi's view of a future in the world political structure where all roads lead to Beijing.  Xi has not been shy about his world wide ambitions for China and China has taken advantage of economic turmoil in 3d world countries around the world to use the Yuan to expand the power and influence of China.  South America is part of that expansion program so the pulling back of Canadian and Thai companies from Argentina would fit right into that Chinese geo-political strategy and probably be welcomed by both Ganfeng and by the PRC.

I think that the reasons for both Bangchak and LAC to pullback from Argentina are, as you stated Steve, not necessarily boding unwell for either Bangchak or LAC.  On the contrary they seem to be a pretty wise thing to do at this point in time and in regard to the geopolitical forces at work in the world.  JMO, nothing more.  Okiedo
