It can be any auto OEM as well. Most of them form JVs to produce batteries. I really feel sorry for the battery factory. I struggle to see that LAC is exporting the production to Asia, especially to China. That would go against the stategy outlined by current administration to secure supply of critical minerals "locally". And I dont think, that the new administration is going to divert much from that.

IMHO it rather means that the partner already has the battery production in place. Panasonic has a big factory nearby or it may be Ford/VW or of course somebody else :-)
