They address some of the big bugaboos, such as battery swelling, dendrite formation, etc.

Apparently they are using a "pouch" approach for the individual cells so I think that means they are using a liquid electrolyte.  I didn't see any mention of "solid state" in the material I read.  If it is there then I missed it.  At any rate, as it applies to EVs, it looks like it will be a few years in that the companies that own the charging stations will have to come up with considerable $$ to be able to provide charge stations compatible with all the abilities of these StoreDot batteries.  I don't think it is going to happen overnight.  

We would still be talking about Lithium Ion batteries!!    Okiedo
