I didn't mention it in my post where I noted that I have 3 Iron Phosphate Battery powered EVs, but I also have Solar Panels on my garage that generates a substantial part of my total electricity needs over the years.  I am now on year 5 of my solar panels and may actually add more if my investments pay off as I think they will, LAC included.  I suspect that the number of homes with at least some Solar Panels installed has grown substantially over the last decade and that coming decades in the future will not see a reversal of that pattern.  Home solar electricity may never be the sole source and I don't ever expect to see the bulk of homes "Off Grid", but that doesn't need to occur to reduce what would othewise be a catastrophic burden on the grid due to the trend currently occuring toward automobile manufacturers leaving behind the exclusive production of only ICE vehicles as they change and adapt more toward EVs.
