It seems to me, that you guys really believe, that this „green agenda“ will positively impact so called global warming or as melon-ist ( explanation: melon has a green coat, inside is red with brown seeds) of all nations and races call it nowadays “global change” just to ensure to be right, should the global warming turn to the opposite.

Here is the bad news for you: it is estimated, that transportation is responsible for approximately 22% of CO2 production. Out of that “light” vehicles take 40% of that (have a look at google for a reference), so simple calculation tells you, that should we eliminate all ICE everywhere, CO2 production would technically drop by 9%. How much of that comes from the US? Maybe 1/3? However the snack is hidden in the fact, that vast majority of electricity is generated by coal/gas power station (don’t even try to mention, that these will be replaced by solar, wind and batteries).

Net, net. BEV cars are not going to change anything. Get load to the fact, that we are part of transition of the wealth from “not so rich” to “ultra-rich” and it has nothing or very little to do with the environment. We are all invested in LAC just to make some money from environmental fools (well at least I am), unfortunately nobody will master this discipline as much as Elon Musk, he and few others made from the environmentalist nice living while giving nothing back. Screw all hypocrites, who are hiding behind environmental motives.
