Thanks, JDubski for that post about the latest "News Flash" out of the Protect Thacker Pass propaganda machine.

May I suggest that everyone read that "News Flash" again, slowly.  Then read the article linked below and see how many of the "7" propaganda techniques enumerated you can identify in the Protect Thacker Pass propaganda "News Flash".

These "protest" organizations (numerous and not just the DGR here at play) are not a bunch of bumpkins that just fell off of the turnip truck.  They have very sophisticated and dedicated propagandists, experienced with the utilization of "the big lie" and in marshaling public opinion to suit their goals.  They have a veritable "Army" of dedicated litigants, attorneys who will pull out all stops to sabotage any effort by insustrialized society to move forward on a project that would involve moving one shovel of dirt from a previous untouched "Mother Earth".

Don't let their tent encampment outside Thacker Pass fool you into automatic dismissiveness regarding their potential to disrupt the Thacker Pass Project, or any other project they chose to target. This is what they do, they have no other purpose but to obfuscate and obstruct..... and they are very, very good at what they do.
