Great find.  Very important since it clearly illustrates the willingness of local community members to negotiate with LAC on Thacker Pass. 

It could be that the professional activists have served a useful purpose in possibly encouraging LAC to be more receptive in the area of negotiation than they might have been otherwise, although LAC does point to its role as a negotiating mining company in regards to Cauchari-Olaroz in Argentina.
