Yeah SP rose over 300% before crashing and burning when it was confirmed to be fake. I think it would be a little different situation since LAC has a pretty sizable market cap to begin with, but I could definitely see a 1 day spike of 50%+, then again, who really knows. 

I have been pondering this reply elon made to his now famous tweet about considering getting into lithium mining

"We have some cool ideas for sustainable lithium extraction & refinement"

It made me think back to one of Evans previous interviews where he talks about not getting a partner for TP primarily for their financial contribution but for their technical and logistic expertise. I hadn't really put much stock in the possibility of Tesla being that strat partner, but it sounds now like it wouldn't be out of the wrelm of possibility. Perhaps a partnership where LAC and Tesla would work together to fully crack the code of clay extraction, which Tesla could then use for their mystical 10k acress, and LAC coud benefit from for TP. 

The reality is that one day it will happen when there is a press release that contains LAC and TSLA together, and regardless of the nature of this  release (simply TSLA purchasing our lithium), we will likely get a lot of eyes on the stock.
