Actually, I was just quessing based on my personal experience. Has happened to me as well, that I have paid the domain fee only after our mail system has stop working. The invoices were coming to a trash bin because outlook had identified the mail as a spam.

Anyway, this particular one is supposed to be a technical problem on the host server. An info from an impeccable source...
