PH over on TOB posted the note below. Many thanks to PH. At a time when the only direction that LAC seems to consistently follow is SOUTH that makes this information, provided by PH, all the more welcome. It is so difficult to keep ones perspective on the long road when the short one is filled with pot holes, but institutional new buy ins is the type of information that does have definite ameliorative healing power at an otherwise difficult time for LAC share owners.

Now, on a separate matter, I am posting an excerpt from a February 17th, 2022 Seeking Alpha article by Austin Craig where he draws our attention to Judge Du's concern about getting the main case against Thacker Pass adjudicated by the start of the 2022 "construction season":
"In the main case, Obama appointee, Judge Du, did mention that she wants to wrap up the case by construction season. Per the December 27th Pacer court document #155 - Page 6 we see:
Court Timeline Aspirations (Pacer Legal)
(Source: Pacer Legal - Highlights are the authors)
Typically, the construction season would be after the weather in northern Nevada turns favorable in April for construction. Hence we see the intent of the court to try to get this resolved somewhere near this time frame give or take due to delays.

The part highlighted in yellow in the original article from Seeking Alpha did not reproduce in my exerpt above, but it deals with the "hope" of the Court to resolve this case.
To quote that particular portion of the article: "the Court hopes to resolve this case on the merits before the 2022 construction season begins".
Well, hold on to the phone ya'll, today is 2 May and as I drive around Sparks and Reno Nevada this morning, I see multiple roadway construction sites and building under construction sites in both communities. I have no doubt that Judge Du must live somewhere withing or near Sparks, Nevada or Reno, Nevada. Earth to Judge Du: "Construction Season" is well under way here in Northern Nevada and there is no difference in the start of "construction season" here in Washoe County from the start of "construction season" in our neighboring county: Humboldt County that is also in Northern Nevada.
Judge Du, the ball game for "construction season" has proceeded beyond the ceremonial entry onto the field of the opposing teams, beyond the warmup for the opposing teams, beyond the coin toss and way beyond the Kick Off.
What are you waiting for, eh? 4th Quarter or is it post game re-hash?
Orange Cones are out all over Northern Nevada, Judge Du. If you truly "hoped" to have this mess tied up before the start of construction season then I have a news flash for you:
You are a Day Late and a Dollar Short.... our dollars, actually. Wake UP, Judge Du!!
Justice is indeed blind in this case, orange cones are ubiquitous on our public streets and propagating like rabbits as you continue to procrastinate on a central issue as to whether this country will ever be able to produce once again the essential minerals needed for the security and future technological development of our country vs the same old decline into being totally dependent upon foreign countries to provide fundamental commercial and military mineral supplies required for the security of our country.
Nero fiddled while Rome burned. What instrument do you play, eh?
