I started selling covered calls from my fishing boat radio in Alaska to my broker over 30 years ago. I think I only lost the stock once and then I bought it back when it dropped in a day or two. For the Lac option I mentioned it was for shares I bought on margin, which I did on a whim. I never do that. So the option money I get pays for the interest I pay and then some. So like I said "easy money"  

And Pavel: Just drove over 700 miles in my TeslaY in 85-90 degrees over two passes and two long grades. Guess what? Didn't overheat
