Thanks, rkeeb. My questions on the matter were, of course, rhetorical. The answer, as you have pointed out, was obvious. Xinhua isn't a state sponsored propaganda machine for nothing, they take the propaganda goal quite seriously and with extreme dedication. There isn't any pretense of "fair and balanced" news when it comes to Xinhua and "The Truth Shall Set You Free" does not apply.
