In Europe, the model is as follows the patient goes into the pharmacy and pays $50 Euros that entitles them to have 4 moles scanned. The scans and patient onboarding is completed by a technician who is trained on the system. The images and patient information is sent to a trained dermatologist for assessment. This complete service takes 72 hours.

If the mole or lesion turns out to need a biopsy then the patient is expedited and requires an immediate in-clinic assessment by the dermatologist. That can take a few days.
