I am not quite following your line of thinking here. Your link to to the clinicaltrials.gov site and the Phase 3 trials for T2 diabetes, which is the trial that was initiated later and so, we have heard (?), will complete enrollment later.

The pertinent information pasted from the site:

Estimated Enrollment: 328
Study Start Date: November 2011
Estimated Study Completion Date: February 2013
Estimated Primary Completion Date:

December 2012 (Final data collection date for primary outcome measure)

Responsible Party: Mannkind Corporation ( Mannkind Corporation )
ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT01451398 History of Changes
Other Study ID Numbers: MKC-TI-175, Affinity2
Study First Received: October 7, 2011
Last Updated: July 3, 2012
Health Authority: United States: Food and Drug Administration

Additional relevant MeSH terms:

Diabetes Mellitus
Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2
Glucose Metabolism Disorders
Metabolic Diseases
Endocrine System Diseases
Insulin
Hypoglycemic Agents
Physiological Effects of Drugs
Pharmacologic Actions

ClinicalTrials.gov processed this record on July 08, 2012

If this info in bold has in fact been updated it would mean that the trials are now on schedule to be completed by year end (12 weeks titration and then 12 weeks of Afrezza therapy) and submitted by Feb 2013, which is good news. Yes?
