opc,

"ONCE AGAIN: They talk about how many they've SCREENED (87% T1 study; 83% T2 study), BUT not how many are enrolled? Screening will be done next month. I'm beginning to think screening = enrollment as of this call which doesn't make sense since they have previously discussed screening failures. Ie, they wouldn't be enrolled and then fail screening. Screening should come first. Poor communication at best IMO."

The way I'm looking at it, screening does not equal enrollment (numerically), but is a surrogate for it. If you know the percentage that pass screening and do enroll, then you know how many you have to screen to make your enrollment numbers. The percentage of the screening target will be roughly equal to the percentage of the enrollment target.
