I wish I could tell you why exactly, but that will not happen. One reason that has come up before is that the company is trying to get the newly issued stock into institutional hands, and in order to do so, must throw a little something out there (discount, warrants, etc.); we may be fairly strong hands, but we're not institutional. Another reason is that it really is probably more difficult than to turn it over to a broker and have the broker place it, that way the broker wins, the new shareholder wins, the company wins, and the existing shareholder wins, but wins less.
