Yes, and that is sort of along the lines of what I'm saying. They may have a partnership in principal, but waiting to finalize financing (or vice versa). If I were MNKD, I would not announce a partnership contingent on financing before financing is completed due to devastating impact failure to secure financing would have on share price and long term prospects of recovery.
