Chad, I feel like you do, notwithstanding the excellent arguments contrary. Almost the second I get one of those class solicitations or notices in the mail, they go in the trash.
I hate the way the lawyers end up with such a share of the proceeds - can't stand it, in fact.
Now days, as soon as a stock drops precipitously, the next day you read that Dewey Cheatham & Howe are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drop - just fishing immediately for a few class representative.
Send management to jail if they cheat - that's the deterrent, and any money recovered in a suit can go to a better cause.
