286 g/t Gold over 1.2m Within 101.6 g/t Gold over 3.8m Plus More High Grade & Broad Near-Surface Gold Intercepts at Comtois

Montreal, Quebec CANADA, March 21, 2011 /FSC/ - Maudore Minerals Ltd. (MAO - TSX Venture, M6L - FWB),is pleased to report recent results from successful winter drilling. Both high grade gold assays and more broad near-surface intervals are tabled below from recently completed holes from the ongoing exploration and definition drilling at its Comtois Project (north of Val-d'Or, Quebec, Canada).

The focus of the latest drilling has been confirmatory for the shallow portion of the current 43-101 resource and to continue definition of the potential open pit. In keeping with these goals, drilling was conducted at relatively shallow depths, with the deepest intercept reported at 287.5 metres. Although most drilling occurred in the Western half of the resource, excellent results ensued in almost all areas.

"Our new results exceeded expectations on several counts" said CEO Ron Shorr. "The exceptional high grade intercept of 286.0 g/t Au from Midway in Hole 592 ranks among our top three holes to date, and this includes 3.8 metres of 101.6 g/t gold; our widest intercept ever of a 100+ gram hole. Several new holes established good grades in areas without previous known mineralization, and our potential open pit area was enhanced by seven near-surface holes of excellent length, all grading above our indicated open pit cut-off grade."

High grade gold results

New exceptional high grade gold values include:

* 286.0 g/t Au over 1.2m (COM-11-592), from 212.0 to 214.2m depth, included within 101.6 g/t Au over 3.8m (Midway).

Other near surface high grade gold (above 20 g/t Au) assay results obtained are:

Note that the first three results are all within the same drill hole.

* 44.4 g/t Au over 0.5m (COM-11-591), 69.0 to 69.5m depth, included within 6.5 g/t Au over 3.5m (Midway).

* 40.9 g/t Au over 0.5m (COM-11-591), 162.7 to 163.2m depth, included within 13.2 g/t Au over 2.0m (Midway).

* 32.5 g/t Au over 0.9m (COM-11-591), 252.6 to 253.5m depth, included within 10.4 g/t Au over 3.5m (Midway).

* 34.1 g/t Au over 1.1m (COM-11-575), 174.0 to 175.1m depth, included within 10.0 g/t Au over 4.0m (West of Osborne).

* 24.3 g/t Au over 1.3m (COM-11-583A), 136.2 to 137.5m depth, included within 16.1 g/t Au over 2.0m (Midway).

* 20.9 g/t Au over 1.5m (COM-10-547), 102.0 to 103.5m depth, included within 10.7 g/t Au over 3.0m (East of Bell).

NOTE: Gold grades (g/t Au) are expressed uncut and over core length. In most cases, core length and true width are close to being the same given the dip of the drill hole and the strike and dip of the mineralized zone. Estimated true widths are in the range of 80% of the core length. Values were rounded at 1 decimal point.

Broad near surface intervals

New drilling results obtained also include new broad mineralized intervals (above a minimum cut-off grade of 1 g/t Au) confirming open pit potential for the Bell, Midway and Osborne areas:

* 1.6 g/t Au over 12.0m (COM-10-528), 69.0 to 81.0m depth (West of Bell).

* 1.7 g/t Au over 14.1m (COM-10-524), 6.1 to 20.2m depth (Bell).

* 2.7 g/t Au over 8.3m (COM-11-581), 164.0 to 172.3m depth (Midway).

* 4.1 g/t Au over 9.5m (COM-11-591), 162.0 to 171.5m depth (Midway).

* 2.5 g/t Au over 23.1m (COM-11-591), 252.6 to 275.7m depth (Midway).

* 1.0 g/t Au over 8.7m (COM-11-576), 16.9 to 25.6m depth (Osborne).

* 2.9 g/t Au over 12.2m (COM-11-576), 31.3 to 43.5m depth (Osborne).

Significant results were obtained along the entire 13/4 km Osbell Trend. Refer to Table 1 for detailed results.

Osbell Winter Drilling

Four drill rigs have been working in continuous, non-stop drilling, 24 hours per day on the Osbell trend. The winter period provides full access to the promising Midway area, many portions of which are difficult to drill when the snow runs off.

Exploration Properties West of Comtois

Recently completed work on the western exploration properties included extensive line cutting to facilitate second-phase work and Induced Polarization (IP) geophysical surveys, which are still ongoing. Recently, one of Maudore's four drill rigs was re-allocated to the exploration properties and drilling has been initiated on previously qualified targets. Many parts of this Western area are best drilled through the ice.

About Maudore Minerals Ltd.

The current Inferred Mineral Resource (August 15, 2010) at Comtois is 8,126,000 tons grading 4.6 g/t Au totalling 1,212,000 Oz Gold, divided into a resource grading 3.2 g/t Au to 150m depth with open pit potential, and an underground resource grading 6.8 g/t Au. The estimate used a capping factor of 65 g/t Au. For comparative purposes, the uncut resource is 1,400,000 oz. gold.

Maudore owns 100% of the Comtois Gold Project in Quebec. Infrastructure is excellent: a highway; accessibility to North America's lowest cost power; plenty of nearby water and a mining-oriented local workforce. Quebec is consistently ranked among the best locations worldwide for mineral exploration. The province provides 47% rebates on exploration expenditures, a very large advantage resulting in lower costs and less dilution. Maudore has been able to raise substantial funds recently at over a 40% premium to the share price.

Maudore also owns a large land area west of Comtois with volcanogenic gold/massive sulphide (VMS) potential. VMS gold deposits are more common in Quebec than anywhere else in the world. Maudore's total land package, now 85,446hectares (211,000 acres or 330 sq. mi.), is larger than New York City.

Gold grades (g/t Au) are expressed uncut and over core length.
In most cases, core length and true width are close to being the same given the dip of the drill hole and the strike and dip of
the mineralized zone. Estimated true widths are usually in the range of 80% of the core length.
Identification of the mineralized zone is based on a preliminary interpretation using plan and cross-sectional representations.
Values were rounded at 1 decimal point.
