I always get a laugh out of traders talking about free share as if you have 2 pools of shares, core cheapies and traders. Unfortunately the tax authorities don't allow you to separate, every share you buy adjusts your moving average adjusted cost base (ACB). Zero cost shares don't exist, except in your mind.
