Appealing a court decision isn't always the smartest thing to do. Just understand there are very real differences in US and Canadian Court systems. For one thing a lawyer here isn't allowed to defend someone on the basis of taking a percentage of money involved if case is won. That alone cuts down on frivilous lawsuits.
