Alan Greenspan is clueless.  He is now trying to rewrite history.  He was responsible for the stock market bubble that he denied was even there, and he created the housing bubble that is now tearing the economy to schreds.  He encouraged potential homeowners to buy the teaser loans and allowed these loans to be packaged and sold unregulated by hedge funds.  He will go down in history as the worst fed chaiman we have ever known.  Bill Fleckenstein is writing a boook about him and I would say it is a must read if interested in economics.

The dollar is doomed and gold will go past $1600.
