I don't think they will try an expansion in a credit crisis that would be very risky. They need to prove up the ounces that is for sure. The market doesn't like uncertainty especially now if they prove up the ounces it gives them more bargaining power incase they need more money down the road for larger expansions and acquisitions.
We are lucky with the Barry pit because its grade is quite high so tonnes per day isn't pertinent. If you watch the Jay Taylor video Serge says they are producing around 7 grams a tonne at a cost of 310 an ounce that was right from the horses mouth i think at most now it would be 400, 500 seems way to high they have all the right things going for them to be producing well under $500.00 an ounce!CHEERS!
