Mill City Gold Corp
Exploration stage resource company - McFaulds Lake, On & Nevada
Mill City Gold Corp., Calgary, AB. TSX.V : MC is a Canadian based exploration stage resource company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of base and precious metals properties.
Our key assets are comprised of an option to earn a 50% interest in approximately 20,000 hectares located in the “Ring of Fire” mining camp in the McFaulds Lake, James Bay Lowlands area of northern Ontario, Canada.
Through our joint ventures with Temex Resources Corp. and East West Corporation, Mill City has commenced a very aggressive exploration program to test a number of high priority targets similar to the one that highlights the location of the original Noront Eagle One rich nickel-copper-PGE discovery found in September 2007
Norhtern Star Eagle 49 unpatented mining claims that total 718 claim units or 11,488 ha (approx. 28,375 acres) Located in the James Bay Lowlands approx. 300km north of Nakina, Ontario. Area staked owing to discovery of nearby volcanogenic massive sulphide ("VMS") deposits by Spider Resources Inc. and a nickel-copper platinum group element discovery by Noront Resources Ltd. in August, 2007. The area represents a virtually unexplored greenstone belt, and has the potential of 25 unpatented mining claims that total 400 claim units or 6,400 ha (approx. 15,808 acres). Southern Star Eagle
Located in the James Bay Lowlands approx. 300km north of Nakina, Ontario. Area staked owing to discovery of nearby volcanogenic massive sulphide ("VMS") deposits by Spider Resources Inc. and a nickel-copper platinum group element discovery by Noront Resources Ltd. in August, 2007. The area represents a virtually unexplored greenstone belt, and has the potential of developing into a new and important base and precious metal mining camp. GP2 17 unpatented mining claims that total 240 claim units covering 3,885 ha. (approx 9,600 acres) Located in the James Bay Lowlands approx. 300 km north of Nakina, Ontario. Property was subjected to a VTEM helicopter-borne geophysical survey which defined numerous anomalies from which priority targets were selected for immediate drill testing. The majority of the targets are considered to have potential to host significant Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization or Cu-Zn mineralization. Drilling has been completed on 8 targets and the Company is awaiting assay results. ELKO COUNTY, NEVADA: Pony Creek property The Pony Creek property (16,700 acres) is located in the southwest corner of Elko County about 30 miles south of the town of Carlin and along the crest of the Pinon Range. The property is within the southern Carlin Trend and located about 20 miles south of the deposits at Rain. The property covers a portion of the Pinon graben, a regionally extensive structural feature that trends north-south for at least 20 miles and hosts several major gold deposits. The deposits associated with the graben contain more than 5 million ounces of gold and from north to south are Saddle, Rain, Emigrant Springs, Bullion, Dark Star, Trout Creek, and Dixie Creek. The graben at Pony Creek is more than a mile wide and bounded by a series of north-south trending structures. Northwest trending cross structures are also prominent within and on the margins of the graben. Tertiary felsic to mafic intrusives have been emplaced along the structural zones. The most prominent feature at Pony Creek is the north-south trending rhyolite porphyry which has intruded the sediments within the graben. The exposed intrusive dike-sill complex is approximately 2 miles long and 0.75 miles wide. The sediments in the graben range in age from Mississippian to Permian and consist mostly of fine to coarse grained siliceous clastics. The Pony Creek property has an inferred gold resource above 500 feet of 1,426,000 ounces contained in 32,410,000 tons with an average grade of 0.044 oz/ton Au. This shallow resource was calculated after compiling and reviewing all of the historic data on the property and is based on 151 drill holes from a property wide data base of 175 holes. The holes used in the calculation are drilled along a portion of a north/south structural/intrusive trend approximately 2.4 miles long by 2000 feet wide on the south end to 4800 feet wide on the north end. High grade is present as demonstrated by drilling up to 25 feet @ 0.40 opt gold in a structure at the base of an intrusive ELLIOT DOME The Elliot Dome property (1963 acres) is located in southwestern Elko County about 20 miles south of the town of Carlin and along the crest of the Pinon Range. The property is within the southern Carlin Trend 12 to 15 miles south of the Rain and Emigrant Springs deposits. It is made up of 95 mineral claims (795 hectares) which extend for a strike length of three miles from the Pony Creek property on the south to the Trout Creek property (held by Royal Standard Minerals) on the north.
