Wiley -

Your post got me thinking. What if MEO did a NR that stated the following?

"The company is having paraffin problems that were currently preventing the economical extraction of the oil (and gas). The company is working on a solution and will apprise shareholders of the results in the future."

I think that we would still have a chorus of people who would then complain about MEO "releasing information that damaged the share price." Futhermore, the would probably be a campaign to hound MEO for constant updates on the progress of "solution."

Your point (and point of others) is well taken....MEO is a long shot with the potential for really huge returns. That is why I entered this speculation. Now I did some initial research and (through the auspices of this forum) I continue to improve my knowledge about his industry. But the bottom line is that MEO is a speculation.

I share the frustration that we all feel over the (apparent") lack of progress. But I suggest that acquring a big stress level over this is not helping anyone's health.

I am one of those peope that you suggested made a bad (too big) investment but that is the nature of my speculations. If I'm in ...I'm in. As I stated several months ago - I 'm in until I either sell for a few dollars a share or a few cents a share.

Until that time, I wish to thank all of you for continuing to provide intelligent information about the oil industry in general and MEO in particular. Right now I'm just trying to practice patience in the face of adversity. That has paid off big in the past for me.
