Sounds to me like this board is not going to remain the way it is as per Agora.. Fut's point appreared to me to be those who feel these future changes will be detrimental may want to consider their own separate completely democratic unmoderated board.

IMO: ignore button would not be a solution; If Agora wants to implement a seniority group to monitor and decide so be it; Personally I would prefer Agora remain as is with the addition that a TOSd participant would be granted a second chance (maximum) with the knowledge if he/she broke forum rules again, their IP would be permanently banned from Agora participation.
