ARM is in a world of hurt and the only option for them right now is to see this case all the way thru. IMO there is no way they can settle. If they settle they will be in essence leaving all their customers without a defense. IMO they are going to be throwing everything at us because their survival depends on it. Think about it...if you sold designs to the J3 that were infringing the MMP and you then settle with TPL what argument do the J3 or for that matter any of ARM's customers have. This is why ARM is stuck in between a rock and a hard place. Now add the injunction and the vice is beginning to choke defendants.
