This ruling is actually going to work in our favor. Why? Because I think it will make Judge Wards job a little easier in that he may broaden the scope of infringement or narrow the same with a simple yes or no answere to the question......Was this "OBVIOUS" at the time the patent was granted. In other words, the way I see it, Was this new and innovative compared to existing micrprocessing patents at the time? I think resoundingly yes! At the time this patent was granted I believe everyone was still using an 8088 for gosh sakes! These ideas were WAY ahead of their time and thus figured to be so far away that no one took notice or wanted to spend the money. Wich came first, the patent or the faster processors?....I've got mine!
