I never take seriously any bones thrown like that at the corporate-level, especially the venue and circumstances it was done.

I'm sorry, I'm just skeptical of the substance. Oh, I'm sure it happened, but I wouldn't be surprised if the talks never got beyond "preliminaries".

If there were serious negotiations to a serious degree, we would have seen a SP reaction. IMO it probably was more of a phone call, visit or two, with the ultimate question of  "how much"?  Our asking was way out of bed with their bidding, they both laughed over it (each for different reasons) both sides shook hands and that be it.

As far as the recent inquiry, they could be asking us if we have come to our senses....and like wise, we could be asking them the same thing now.
