I agree with alot of what you guys are saying, but I'll add a bit based on my thoughts.
First, though we are seeing more marketing of PTSC as an investment, this isn't the big time IMO. This is just some scratching around for a little name recognition for when things really start to happen. And things really haven't started to happen yet, IMO.
I still think that Alliacense is sandbagging, holding off on penning the bottom line on new licenses till something solid happens - that being, IMO, when we see settlements out of the Js (for serious money).
IMO, the last two, and possibly three, licensees were garnered by André-Pascal Chauvin (Vice President to Manage European Licensing Activities from Newly Established Paris Office). These last two licensees especially are with companies we didn't expect, and were probably for relatively small dollars (Euros). These licenses were IMO "done" to establish the existance of the new Paris office, and to justify (pay for?) its existance. The last three licenses were with European companies. Andre is just getting his feet wet, specifically on the last two licensees. Neither are what I'd call "big players", so no real big money could be expected from either, now or later.
IMO, those 80+ we heard about, that had been to the "table", are being kept waiting outside the door for another audience with Alliacense. Alliacense has locked that door for the time being, but has the key in hand for when we see those settlements.
And when might that happen? Well, it still appears that mediation dates were not pushed from the 27/29 Sept dates. I still think that (to fully cooperate with the court) our team is just playing the game until mediation is concluded. If settlements are not reached there (and I suspect they won't), it will be prime time for our team to file those motions for SJ. Again, we will have stayed in the good graces of the court and allowed the court's mandated mediation to have occurred. But after having met that "need", we can play the MforSJ card without ruffling the court's feathers. Actually, at that point, I strongly suspect that the court will be pleased to see those motions filed.
Even apatentlawyer recently said in a closing statement "we'll just have to see how the SJs go" (or words to that effect). He too expects it to happen this way (as that's my interpretation of those words), and there is no reason not to.
And when/if those settlements come, then we'll see a real PTSC PR campaign. Big time, IMO.
And to Oscar who said "PTSC won't skyrocket in a day", just wait and see.
All JMHO, and I KNOW nuttin'!
Apologies for the poor writing quality today.
