I have to laugh about this or I may throw up, LOL. It will be interesting to see the reaction on Monday regarding IP related stocks. I know it's not law but it will surely rattle some. It would be fantastic if we could hear some kind of positive news from the USPTO this month. I'm hoping against all hope they follow the same logic used on the '584. Hopefully Ease will be correct, and the USPTO will move in line with the courts, they've already done it on one of the patents. I still think the volitale S/P can be contributed to one primary issue, uncertainty.
I would think the potential passage of the legislation will give new life to those companies stalling on the sidelines. Why rush to sign? I think Alliacense would take a $15-$20 million dollar signing in January just like they would now. I don't believe TPL wants to spend the next 9 years taking everyone to court. If we don't hear anything positive or negative from the USPTO in the next 2-3 months I think the S/P stays right were it's at. The exception, of course, would be positive news from PTSC about something other than the MMP.
