I thought I had read that he had experience in acquisitions, but going back to the posts today to verify my fading memory I couldn't find anything. That would be an obvious plus, but again, I couldn't verify. I know he was quoted as being eager to help ptsc assess future endeavors, or something like that. So maybe that's what I was thinking of.
Certainly 8 years at Pricewaterhouse I would consider a big plus. Those high-falutin' big accounting firms only take the best and the brightest.
I don't look at this as a "good ol' boy" (your words were friend of a friend) hire. I think Mr. Flowers comes with very good credentials and I, for one, welcome him.
