My only thought on this is that the filing must have been done as you suggest - confidentially. This prompts the question as to why. Just thinking out loud, but it seems the only result that would warrant confidentiality would be settlements. It just seems to me that this outcome would qualify as a "material event" for all the companies involved, and therefore should be disclosed to the public by the affected companies in a fashion appropriate to the occasion (like any other "material event"), such that the public/shareholders are given access to this information broadly and concurrently. It seems the other possible results would not necessarily rise to the significance of a settlement, and would not warrant such handling.
