Current weather forecast is for the winds to strengthen Tue Morning.   Evacuation ordered for 230,000 people from LA to San Diego Counties.  Red flag - High wind warning thru 3 :00 p.m.  When its forecast for 90 degrees at the coast, you know its going to be 100's inland.  Whew!!!  I-5 N is a literal parking lot for 20 miles.   Driving to Carlsbad from LA (100 miles - 1.5 Hour drive) would be treacherous to say the least.  The drive back on I-5 would be much, much worse.

Hats off to those of you who are attending.  Sadly, I like Larry, have decided to forego this opportunity to attend the SHM meeting and renewing acquaitances from the last Apr SHM.
