I did think it would not make sense that Turley needs to sign any settlement since TPL is in Charge. 

I correct myself:

I believe he does need to sign, that he will not further charge the J´s for the Patents. 

We had the big trial in Germany with a pharmacie company called Grünenthal. Children would have handicaped arms and legs cause of the mothers have taken pills (contergan). They settled and every family had to sign individually that they would not sue Grünenthal again for it.  

The aftersignparty is a nice theory though. Kinda like that one. Let them have some japanes ricewhiskey:-)
