I see a lot of people here who simply cannot acknowledge that there is another side to this case (Roger Cook is brilliant, but the J3 lawyers are stupid and/or dishonest; Alvin Despain speaks the "tech gospel", but the J3 experts can simply be ignored; and on and on) --- that's always the easiest route to take, of course, but it isn't being very objective. If that is all that we needed to do, there this board need not have existed (except perhaps as a social club) after Dr. Despain submitted his affidavit and the Markman ruling was issued. I assure you that our lawyers haven't treated the case that way, and as such, it is probably wise for us to refrain from doing so.
