Did other discount brokers require orders to be called to a broker like Etrade did? Did Etrade then charge the fee of using a broker exercised trade? Did TDAmeritrade have the same requirement today? I am very upset/concerned that I may not be able to trade with the ease that I have become accustomed to with Etrade and am considering changing all my accounts to TDAmeritrade. These guys have just lost billions in the subprime market and they are now going to "protect" me from the volitility in bb stock!
